The Des Moines Choral Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As with every organization, there are expenses to continue providing excellent choral music to our community. A stipend for the artistic director, collaborative pianist, and office administrator; fees for guest instrumentalists; and performance hall rental fees, just to name a few.

Through your generosity, the Des Moines Choral Society will continue to provide central Iowa with outstanding choral music while continuing to set our own performance bar ever higher. Together, we will make beautiful music – thank you!

Sustaining Friends of the Des Moines Choral Society provides an ongoing source of programming dollars to our organization. These monthly gifts allow us to focus our efforts on bringing our audiences the quality of concerts that they enjoy. Sustaining Friends make recurring monthly gifts as a pledge of support. These amounts are charged automatically to a credit card for a period of time determined by the donor. This automated process makes it easy for donors to budget their support. Changes or cancellations can be made at any time with a phone call to the office.

Sustaining Friends donations begin with a minimum of $10.00 per month. This allows you to budget your support and allows us to rely on sustainable giving.

As a valued donor to the Des Moines Choral Society, your name will be listed in our season concert programs in one of the following categories:

• Presto ($5,000 or more)

• Vivace ($2,500 – $4,999)

• Allegro ($1,000 – $2,499)

• Andante ($500 – $999)

• Adagio ($250 – $499)

• Maestoso ($100 – $249)

• Largo (up to $99)

As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all donations are tax-deductible.
