With works by master composers, including Bach, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, and Fauré, as well as seasonal carols — familiar favorites and newly discovered gems — this year's concert promises to ring in the season triumphantly. And you, as our honored guest, will be invited to join us in singing a cherished Christmas carol or two. Gather at St. Ambrose Cathedral as choir, orchestra, and soloists celebrate the season and bring you a holiday event you won’t want to miss!

Springtime brings warmer weather and thoughts of travels to far-off lands. Come journey with the Des Moines Choral Society as we present a few of Britain's great musical treasures during Bravo Britain! Featuring works by noted British composers, the concert's centerpiece will be Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem — a work for soloists, orchestra, and choir, with texts taken from Scripture and Walt Whitman poetry. We will celebrate the brilliance of other British composers throughout history.
